‘ART’ opens Feb. 14 at the San Juan Community Theatre

Submitted by the San Juan Community Theatre.

Serge, played by Eric Concord, has bought a painting. It’s a canvas, about five feet by four. White. And if you screw up your eyes you can see some fine white diagonal lines. When his friends Marc, Scott Mapstead, and Yvan, Rebecca Guenther, find out he paid 200,000 francs for the painting, the information throws their decades-long friendship into a tailspin revolving around questions of loyalty, courtesy and what actually makes “art”?
