Williamson withdrew from mayor race

Dear Townies, I withdrew from the mayoral race for several reasons, one of which is that there so many qualified candidates that also expressed interest. And though my name appears on the ballot, please don’t vote for me — with four candidates, and a very small voting population, every vote matters in this primary. Also, because I entered the race, I’ve been asked to formally endorse another candidate. Personally, I’m casting my vote for Evan Perrollaz. I believe he understands the specific role the TOFH Mayor holds as well as possesses the political acumen to work on important issues like housing, fresh water, and community engagement.

Many thanks to all of you that offered support! Regardless of our votes, and our elected leadership, let’s strive to keep Town a positive place, full of beauty and good will.
