It should be noted that, when renting Brickworks for community use, the Ag Guild maintains a general policy of non-discrimination. Accordingly, the renting of the facility to any individual or organization should not be regarded in any way as the Ag Guild endorsing either the event itself or the mission or goals of the party organizing the event.

Due to the use of some potentially ambiguous wording, a recent letter in the Journal could be misread as implying that the Ag Guild took a position in the public debate surrounding the rental of another building in the Town of Friday Harbor by the Department of Homeland Security.

To set the record straight, the Ag Guild has not taken any position in this debate.
