It’s time to bring your attention to those pretty yellow blossoms, blooming profusely in plain sight.

And while they are in plain sight is the time to pull them, cut them and burn them before they go to seed and the seed pods spread themselves far and wide to start over again. One plant may produce 10,000 seeds which can have a shelf life of 60 or more years in the soil. Insidiously invasive, Washington calls it a Noxious Weed: N.W. Not Wanted.
