Impressive in every way; hats off to IMA | Letters

Charlie (Bodenstab) and the IMA Board have done a fabulous job of putting these beautiful and most professionally presented exhibits together of William Morris and his pupils. Clearly, this gorgeously built IMA will attract major contributions to Friday Harbor and the San Juans in the future.

Normally when we leave San Juan Island on Sundays, we have to wait for the ferry, but on this departure with a reservation for the 11:55 a.m., we enjoyed a leisurely visit to the new and very impressive IMA (San Juan Islands Museum of Art—open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Monday) with no admission fee, had a tour with Charlie Bodenstab of the William Morris Glass Exhibit (Feb. 14 through May 12, featuring his work in the Pam Nichols Gallery; you must see the exquisite photo of Pam at the entrance, and the video of William Morris upstairs in the workshop).
