Gratitude for shoeboxes | Letter

Operation Christmas Child has a five-year goal to reach the half-million children living on the remote islands of the South Pacific who never have received shoeboxes. Some of our shoebox gifts may be part of reaching that goal since we border the Pacific Ocean and are near.

Many thanks go to the Presbyterian Church for being the collection site and their Mary Martha Circle for facilitating this project. Friday Harbor Freight generously transports the boxes to His Place in Mt. Vernon and all the lovely ladies at

Kings Marine faithfully collect boxes all year long. They both are to be sincerely thanked as well as the numerous community members who donate generously to bring joy and the spirit of Christmas to so many less privileged children.

May you all share in the same excitement at Christmas that you have created for so many children.

Merry Christmas!
