I am writing this letter to endorse Rich Goodhart for the Port of Friday Harbor.

With a professional career in commercial aviation, including many years as a pilot and a long time boater (both live-on and off), Rich is uniquely qualified to be a Port Commissioner. He is well versed in the challenges a port faces on water and land.

For years, Rich has consistently volunteered at the San Juan Islands Museum of Art. I have found him to be thorough and reliable. He works wonderfully in a team environment. He is always looking ahead to accomplish the next step and he does so with a smile on his face.

Rich is a deliberate thinker and creative problem solver. He is not a person who makes impulse decisions. As Port Commissioner, we need Rich Goodhart. He is a man of high integrity and an honest individual. I believe he will be an asset to our community as a Port Commissioner.

I am voting for Rich Goodhart for Port Commissioner without reservation.
