Entitlements to banks are now hogging up the budget

I do not understand why entitlements to banks are now hogging up the budget, second only to the cost of wars as a part of Pentagon spending. These bailouts are costing far more than the projected health reform bill that so much hoopla was touted in the media.

The real slap in the face of the taxpayers is the fact that we are protecting and awarding those who were so derelict and caused the problem. The bailouts must stop as well, as the reforms must stay in as they are — unadulterated.

It must stop. Our senators and representatives must understand that they need to represent their constituents who put them in office rather than the lobbyists who line their pockets so well through devious means. If not, they will not be voted in again.

We are keeping an eye on who votes for what.
