Salish Sea Early Music Festival tentative 2026 schedule

Submitted by the Salish Sea Early Music Festival.

Dear friends,

We look forward to our best-ever (as always) series of programs spanning four centuries (1525 through 1835), featuring artists for whose participation we are so grateful, who come from Ukraine, Switzerland, Germany, Montreal, from coast to coast in the United States and in the Pacific Northwest. Among them are to be harpsichordists Olena Zhukova (Kyiv), Irene Roldàn (Basel), Elisabeth Wright (Indiana) and Hans-Jürgen Schnoor (Lübeck); soprano Maike Albrecht (Lübeck); viola da gambists (also treble viol and pardessus de viol) Susie Napper (Montreal), Mélisande Corriveau (Montreal) and Annalisa Pappano (Munich); baroque guitarist and theorbo player William Simms (Baltimore) and guitarist/lutenist Oleg Timofeyev (Chicago); violinists David Greenberg (Corvalis) and Ethan Lin (Seattle); violist Vicki Gunn (Portland); and baroque bassoonist Anna Marsh (Seattle).

Our tentative schedule follows, with specific dates almost ready to be announced very soon. We’re pleased to share a diverse set of programs providing fresh new renditions of familiar and unfamiliar early chamber music exhibiting the broad areas of interest and expertise of these fabulous artists who equally share in the creative process from start to finish, with hopes of providing ourselves and hopefully you too with the transcendent musical experience that is our ultimate goal.

We greatly value your interest in sharing this music with us, and the fact that your free will offerings and donations enable us to offer the highest caliber of period instrument early chamber music is a special joy.

With heartfelt thanks and warm Season’s Greetings,

Jeffrey Cohan
