The San Juan Island Fire District #3 Fire Commissioners would like to take this opportunity to recognize and thank Fire Chief Noel Monin for the exceptional leadership he has shown since becoming the fire department’s new Chief.

When Chief Monin stepped into the role, he inherited a challenging situation requiring both experience and dedication to address. Through his hard work, professionalism and deep understanding of fire service operations, he has made tremendous progress in strengthening our department.

Chief Monin has demonstrated a commitment to transparency and accountability to every area — from fiscal management to day-to-day operations and community relations. His ability to communicate openly, build trust and bring people together has made a real difference.

The Fire Commission is proud of the positive direction our department is moving under his guidance. We are grateful for his leadership and for the renewed sense of confidence and teamwork within the department and community we serve.
