The Animal Protection Society-Friday Harbor is excited to announce our first Online Holiday Gift Auction, a new and unique opportunity for community members to support our mission to provide shelter and care to cats and dogs, help them find loving homes and offer programs and services that support our island community. Our Online Holiday Gift Auction, sponsored by Coldwell Banker San Juan Islands, Inc., Island Air Ambulance, Friday Harbor Electric and Animal Inn & Wellness Center, offers a convenient way to find the perfect gift while supporting the APS-FH this holiday season. Auction item browsing begins on Sunday, Sept. 28, with bidding running from Sunday, Nov. 1 at 9 a.m. to Sunday, Nov. 9 at 5 p.m.

The Animal Protection Society-Friday Harbor is dedicated to animal welfare and recognizes that the need to help homeless, neglected and abandoned pets is greater than ever. All funds raised from this auction will directly benefit our lifesaving services, which include sheltering animals and programs to assist our island community with pet care and responsible ownership.

“Every dollar raised, and auction bid plays a critical role in helping us care for the animals that come through our doors and live in our island community,” said Cristin Felso, executive director. “We invite everyone to participate in this festive event, not just to find unique gifts for loved ones or yourself, but also to support our mission of ensuring every pet has a safe and loving home.”

Bidders will find a delightful and wide assortment of items, including locally sourced gifts, adventures and handmade crafts donated by generous individuals and local businesses. Participants can place bids online, making the process accessible to everyone, regardless of their location.
