Submitted by the San Juan Island Library.

September is National Library Card Sign-up Month! In celebration, the San Juan Island Library is pleased to announce that community members who sign up for a library account during September will get to choose from our two 2025 limited edition cards, featuring artwork from design contest winners Aimee Dieterle and Nadya Troutman.

Current cardholders who would like to upgrade their library card to one of these designs may do so by making a library donation of any size. All donations collected for Library Card Sign-up Month will go toward the new library building project. The supply is limited, so don’t delay!

Library staff can answer any questions you have at 360-378-2798 or sjlib@sjlib.org. Library programs and cards are free of charge to San Juan Island residents. In addition to its collections of books, videos, equipment, games, audiobooks and other materials to loan, the library also provides public access computers, Wi-Fi and a suite of databases that patrons can access in the library or at home.
