San Juan Golf & Tennis Club’s Winter Music Series II featuring local and mainland artist continues this Saturday, March 1, and runs for three more weeks. This is a great opportunity to see live music in the off-season. These artists welcome the chance for a gig this time of year and the series was sold out last year.

Saturday, March 1, artists Cayley Schmid and Aaron Guest appear. Schmid and Guest met at the Bellingham Farmers Market in 2009. Desperately jealous of each other’s busking success, they neutralized the competition and started a band together. This was the beginning of a decade-long musical partnership that descended into marriage. Together they play instrumental Celtic music on fiddle and piano. Tunes range from lively reels and jigs to sweeping airs and waltzes.
