At the San Juan Island Grange on Wednesday, Oct. 18, Friday Harbor resident and lifelong sailor, Jon Howe will present his historical fiction “Shanghaied;” a gripping adventure set in 1810 aboard a tall-masted ship.

This event is sponsored by the Friday Harbor Sailing Club.

Potluck begins at 5:30 p.m., a book reading to follow.

Advanced review copies signed by the author will be available for half price.
