Know Your Island Walk: airport to harbor, March 24

Meet Marilyn O’Connor, director of the Port of Friday Harbor, for the next in the Know Your Island Walk series.

Billed as “Walk the Port” (airport to boat harbor), the walk is March 24, 1-4 p.m. O’Connor will describe airport history, spinkled with local color of the area.

Meet and park at Skagit Valley College parking lot. The walk spans two miles, roundtrip. Terrain is sidewalks, wooded trail and pavement, and it’s rated  moderate. Dogs on leashes welcome. Rain or shine. Info: sanjuanislandtrails.org.
