Animal shelter holds Dec. 16 clearance sale

The Animal Protection Society of Friday Harbor staff and volunteers will open the doors of their old building for anyone wishing to take away miscellaneous items such as pet carriers, feeding bowls, office furniture, shelving units, small refrigerators and more. The building will be open from 10 a.m.-noon, Sunday, Dec. 16, at 111 Shelter Rd. Everything must go: items are free, but donations will be happily accepted.
