Sound of Freedom | Letter

I read with great interest the number of times that NAS Whidbey Island personnel respond to emergencies on the islands. I also read the complaints about aircraft noise. That noise is “The Sound of Freedom.” Having lived in Oak Harbor, I sometimes wondered if those planes were going to land on my roof. I admire and respect the commitment of the US Navy.
