Giddy up… discover new twist to ‘horsepower’ in sculpture park exhibit

Horsein’ around over at the Sculpture Park? You bet they are, and proud of it.

The San Juan Islands Sculpture Park welcome its latest edition recently, a 1,200-pound, life-size bronze sculpture of a running stallion entitled, “Stir’d Up.” It’s the creation of local artist Jason Napier and it took two years to craft.

The 20-acre sculpture park, located on the grounds of Roche Harbor Resort, is open daily, dawn to dusk.
