You may have heard that our island neighbor and friend, Karina Serna, is battling breast cancer.

While she and her family face this challenge, a benefit account has been set up at Islanders Bank to help offset some of the medical expenses.

To learn more, please contact Islanders Bank, and ask about making a deposit to the “Karina Serna Benefit Fund;” branches on San Juan, Orcas and Lopez Islands.

The proceeds from a booth at the Dec. 10 Flea Market will also benefit Karina and her family. Please stop by and show your support.
