Friday Harbor dismantles Darrington, 78-51 | Boys Basketball

The Wolverines tallied their highest scoring total of the season in handing Darrington a decisive 78-51 defeat Tuesday in Turnbull Gym.

The Wolverines, up by two points at the end of the first period, stepped on the gas in the second quarter, outscored the Loggers 29-13 and went into the locker room with a commanding 44-29 advantage at the break.

They outscored Darrington 22-8 in the third period to take control of the contest and matched the Loggers point-for-point in the final period to seal the win.

Tim Fenstermaker scored 16 points to lead the Loggers and Leslie Fabri added 13.

With the victory, Friday Harbor improved to 3-4 overall and remains undefeated, at 3-0, in Northwest 1A/2B League play.
