Two homes to arrive by barge for San Juan Community Home Trust | Update

Two more affordable homes for island families are arriving by barge to San Juan.

The San Juan Community Home Trust will receive its last two houses for its Sun Rise II neighborhood in Friday Harbor, which volunteers call the “ultimate recycling” project. Both houses will be brought ashore at Jackson Beach. The first will come in at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, and the second house will arrive at 9:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 30.

This is a community event. All are welcome to join the trust to celebrate the houses’ arrivals. Bring coffee and something to munch on and enjoy the show.
