The public is invited to an informal community meeting with San Juan County Sheriff Ron Krebs at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 28 at the Mullis Center to address safety concerns surrounding the recent return to San Juan Island of a locally registered sex offender. Parents, grandparents, family members and all concerned community members are encouraged to attend to learn more about what actions are being taken by our local sheriff’s department to protect our children. Information about how to join Friday Harbor Elementary School’s Watch D.O.G.S. program will also be available.
