Dine locally to fund scholarships

Spring is here and it’s time for the annual Dining for Scholars on Thursday, March 30.

Last spring, $15,000 in scholarships were granted to San Juan Island high school graduates. Help by simply dining out for breakfast, lunch or dinner – or all three!

The following restaurants have graciously offered to donate a portion of their proceeds to our scholarship program:

The mission of San Juan Island Service Scholarship is to support higher education and promote volunteerism among our community’s youth. Students who complete a minimum of 80 hours of volunteer community service during their high school career are eligible for a scholarship through our program.
