It’s easy to get into the ‘ACT’ | Letters

Thanks to the Journal and editor Scott Rasmussen for a wonderful article about the opening of our new American Camp Trail (ACT) from Spring Street to the Visitor Center (“Fleet of foot; traversing the ACT”, June 5, pg. 9).

Just one correction: It was landowner Louisa (not Laura) Nishitani who cut the ribbon. Otherwise a splendid story.

We hope many of your readers will walk this six-mile trail or one of the many other public trails on the island. Maps can be found on our website: sanjuanislandtrails.org.
