The PeaceHealth Peace Island Family Practice clinic has scheduled the first in a series of flu shot clinics this fall for individuals aged 6 months or older.

Initially, PeaceHealth Peace Island is offering appointments for the vaccine to established patients only, due to limited supplies. PeaceHealth plans to open up the clinics to the general public later in October.

The clinics run from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. in the clinic lobby conference room. Patients must make an appointment in advance by calling 360-378-1756.

Clinics are planned for the following dates. Currently, PeaceHealth is scheduling only for the first one on Oct. 6, and only for established patients. Please check back later in the month if a different date or are a non-established patient is preferred.

Monday, Oct. 6 (established patients only).

Wednesday, Oct. 15.

Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Wednesday, Oct. 29.

The clinics will be held in the conference room next to the main lobby, inside the hospital at 1117 Spring St. in Friday Harbor.

Family Medicine has regular flu vaccine as well as the high-dose vaccine for people 65 and over. Patients with egg allergies can request the egg-free FluBlok vaccine at registration.

Patients also have the option of getting the vaccine at their next primary care provider visit.

Please note: PeaceHealth will not be offering either the COVID-19 or RSV vaccine this season. Please check with Friday Harbor Drug or another area pharmacy for availability.
