If Jerry Seinfeld and James Taylor were “mashed”, the result would likely be an irreverent, witty singer-songwriter like David Roth.

Roth, a former Seattle resident who now makes his home on Cape Cod, has been performing for more than two decades. His songs have made their way to Carnegie Hall, the United Nations, the Kennedy Center, the Space Shuttle “Atlantis”, as well as into play lists of the Kingston Trio and Peter, Paul & Mary.

Roth will be the featured performer at the Isle be Jammin’ Performer’s Showcase, Thursday, April 12, beginning at 7 p.m.

Tickets are $10, available Isle be Jammin’, 310B Spring St.; 378-5151. Find out more about Roth and his music at www.davidrothmusic.com.
