Islanders speak out

A group of islanders gathered outside the courthouse on Saturday, Jan. 19, ahead of the inauguration, coinciding with protests across the nation.
Attendees displayed signs advocating separation of powers, equality and democracy and speaking out against oligarchy and Project 2025.
