The Wolverines womens’ soccer team played an exciting game against La Conner Oct. 25. Wolverines made a score in the first half of the game, but in the beginning of the second half, La Conner scored one as well.
“It was a really good game,”said Paul Hopkins, coach of the girls soccer team.
Friday Harbor fought hard, but by the end of the game it was still 1-1. In a tie-breaking shoot out, La Conner pulled ahead making the final score 1-2.
District competition begins Thursday, Nov. 3, where the Wolverines will head to Bremerton to play against cross Point Warriors. The loser of this game will be out of the tournament.
