The Friday Harbor Wolverines basketball teams traveled to La Conner to play the La Conner Braves on Friday, Feb. 7. This was a league game.
The lady Wolverines played first and had an extremely difficult time scoring against the Braves.
The lady Braves took the win with a final score of 79-18. The Wolverine boys varsity had a very close contest leading the Braves by just two points. In the fourth quarter, the Wolverines had a five-point advantage and kept it until the final buzzer winning with a score of 44-39.
The final league game in regular season was at Concrete Tuesday, Feb. 11. Scores were not available at press time.
The girls take on Crosspoint for districts at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15.
