Win and they’re in: FH Tiny Radio to broadcast boys & girls regional b-ball tournament games

Catch the action live on FH Tiny Radio, as the Friday Harbor girls and boys basketball teams battle for a berth in the 2B state tournament championships, Friday (boys), Feb. 27, and Saturday (girls), Feb. 28.

In the men’s division, the Wolverines (18-5) tip off at 8 p.m., Friday, against Life Christian Academy (26-1), champion of the Pacific League, in a state tournament regional elimination game, at Mount Tahoma High School; pre-game coverage begins at 7:50 p.m.

The game will be broadcast live on Friday Harbor Tiny Radio, 1650 AM (in town) and on FHTinyRadio.com. Friday harbor High School senior Sam Paul-Barette will provide the play-by-play, with color commentary by Mike Martin.

The Friday Harbor girls basketball team (15-6) faces Toutle Lake (22-3), last year’s state 2B tournament runner-up, in a regional post-season elimination game and with a trip to this year’s state 2B championship round at stake. Tip off is noon, at WF West High School in Chehalis.
