The Friday Harbor volleyball team won 3-0 against Mt Vernon Christian on Tuesday, Oct. 17 and then had another 3-0 win against Darrington at home for “senior night” on Thursday, Oct. 19. Seven seniors started in their last home game: co-captains Kiana Woods and Emma Jean Carpentier, Ella Hu, Laurel Robertson, Savannah Hoffman, Midi Thomas, and Caroline Bryant.

Sophomore Middle Hitter Zoe Wegemer racked up 10 kills against Mt. Vernon on Tuesday. According to Head Volleyball Coach Derek Smith, these two wins gave the Wolverines an outright second place in their conference with one match to go against La Conner. Bi-District playoffs start Oct. 31 at Mt Vernon Christian. The Wolverines have secured a spot to continue after the regular season.
