As of today, only 15 spaces are left in Roche Harbor’s first annual Hook ‘em & Hold ‘em Salmon Derby & Texas Hold ‘em Tournament, Dec. 3-5.

Entry is $100 per angler, with a limit of 150 anglers. Registration and dinner is Dec 3. Fishing and Texas Hold ‘em Tournament are Dec. 4-5.

The $100 derby ticket includes three nights of moorage, hosted registration dinner, Friday and Saturday morning coffee.

Prizes: $5,000 first place, $3,000 second place, $2,000 third place.

As of today, there are only seven spots left in Roche Harbor’s seventh annual Salmon Classic Invitational, Feb. 4-6.

The Salmon Classic Invitational is a three-day sport fishing extravaganza that attracts anglers from all over the Northwest and Canada. They will compete for $30,000 in cash and prizes.

Cash prizes include $10,000, first place; $5,000, second place; $3,000, third place; $2,000, fourth place; $1,000, fifth place; $2,000, Mystery Fish; and $2,000, Best Boat Total Weight — all in cash.

Each night, donated prizes are drawn from the Northwest’s favorite fishing tackle and accessory companies, i.e. Berkely, Frabill, Laminglass, Scotty, Shimano, and Simrad. In addition, each angler qualifies for the grand prize drawing: A top-of-the-line sport fishing boat package as a part of the Northwest Marine Trade Assocation Derby Series.

Derby entries are limited to 100 boats with four anglers per vessel. Entry fee is $700 per boat (plus sales tax of $54.60), which includes moorage and meals.
