Be a part of history and enter the 40th annual Friday Harbor 8.8k LoopRun/Walk, presented by Island Rec and Xtreme Fitness. All ages can run or walk in this race, which is on Saturday, Aug. 19.

Register by July 31 and pay the early fee, which is $15 for ages 12 and under and $20 for ages 13 and older. Fees increase $5 on Aug. 1. Payment includes a free pass to the San Juan County Fair and an event T-shirt. Register online at www.islandrec.org or at the Island Rec office 580 Guard St.

Pick up race numbers and shirts on the Friday before race day at the Island Rec office from 11 am. to 5 p.m. On race day, check-in and register in the Wells Fargo lot on the corner of Argyle and Spring Street from 8-8:45 a.m. The race starts at 9 a.m. in front of Friday Harbor Drug.
