The Lady Wolverines took on the Lady Hurricanes, Friday, Dec. 20. The outcome was way different than the boys game. The Hurricanes led with a huge lead not until near the half did the Wolverines get points on the scoreboard. The Lady Wolverines had a tough nite with many turnovers they just could not “get their game on” and lost to the Hurricanes 14-55.
Saturday, Dec. 21, the Wolverine Girls took the lead in the first quarter and keeping a few points ahead of the Lady Turks. Both teams traded the lead over the next three quarters. With two minutes on the clock, it looked as the Wolverine may take the win but that was not to be as the Turks had a decisive shooting spree taking the lead and the win, 31-27. An exciting game for sure.
The next game is at South Whidbey Dec. 28 at 3 p.m.
