Golf season takes off

The Friday Harbor Golf Team had a successful first home match on March 12 against Grace Academy. The overall team score for Friday Harbor was 207, while Grace Academy scored 258.

According to coach Jack Rice, the “medalist for the day was Ethan Havel with a [personal score of] 40.” Senior Joe Kaden and freshman Jack Mason were both recognized for their low scores of 49.

Friday Harbor then battled Orcas on Thursday, March 14, at home.

Friday Harbor scored 177 overall, and Orcas went away with 185.
