The Friday Harbor Wolverines played the Seton Catholic Cougars at the Kings School Woolsey Stadium in Seattle on Friday, Sept. 23 at 4:30 p.m.
The Wolverines were able to score the first touchdown.
Then the Cougars scored. Both teams scored back and forth thru the first half.
During the third quarter with several minutes on the clock, Friday Harbor took the lead and never looked back.
In the 4th quarter with a few minutes on the time clock, Friday Harbor was leading 39-32.
The Cougars had possession of the ball and tried several long passes which were not complete.
With the final seconds ticking away Seton made one last attempt with a” Hail Mary” pass to the end zone.
Three Wolverine defenders foiled that attempt and Friday Harbor came away with a well-deserved win.
Final score Friday Harbor 39 to Seton 32.
