Friday Harbor to play league rival La Conner this week

The Friday Harbor Wolverines, 0-2, will play the LaConner Braves, 2-0, at LaConner High School Football Field Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m.

The Friday Harbor Wolverines, 0-2, will play the LaConner Braves, 2-0, at LaConner High School Football Field Sept. 25 at 6:30 p.m.

New head football coach Garrett Holmes, a former University of Oregon football player and strength and conditioning coach at UO has brought the Ducks’ offensive scheme with him. The Wolverines have had a rough start to the season with two losses, but the players are focused on getting better each week.

The game will be broadcast live on 1650 AM in downtown Friday Harbor and streamed live on FHTinyRadio.com with Mike Martin doing the play-by-play. The Ace Hardware PreGame Show begins at 6:15 p.m. with a kickoff at 6:30 p.m..
