The Friday Harbor boys varsity basketball team is headed to the state tournament in Spokane. They beat the Oroville Hornets, 51-32, in the regional playoffs on Friday, Feb. 23 in Wenatchee.

They will take on Morton-White Pass High School at 7:15 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 28 at the Spokane Veterans Memorial Arena. The loser will be out of the tournament.

The Wolverines finished first in the boys Northwest 2B/1B League. They are 9-1 in league games and 15-8 overall.
