Four games into the season and still scoreless, the Wolverines will be looking to end the drought Thursday, in their Northwest 1A/2B League opener at Concrete.

Odds are better than good that they will, if history foretells the outcome.

A year ago, the Wolverines clinched their third consecutive league title with an outpouring of offense and a 7-1 victory against the Lions.

Still, Friday Harbor (0-2-2) suffered its second defeat of the season Saturday, at Port Townsend, a Division 2A team, with scoring opportunities in short supply. The Redskins banged in three goals in the opening half to take command of the non-league contest, and added one more in the second half to seal the victory with a 4-0 shutout.
