The San Juan Dragons lost 12-6 to Lynnwood, Friday at Meadowdale High School, in a mirror start of the 2009 season.

In 2009, the Dragons lost their first meeting with Lynnwood 12-5, but defeated Lynnwood 10-9 in their second meeting of the year.

The Dragons were better prepared going into Friday’s game, having placed second in a jamboree the previous weekend in Bellingham. (More details from Friday’s game will be posted later.)

The Dragons (0-1) host Skagit Valley (0-2) today — Saturday — 7:30 p.m. at Friday Harbor High School. A pre-game barbecue starts at 6:30 p.m.
