Jangard and Sandifer tallied seven of Friday Harbor’s 18 team points with a 6-2 victory over Travis Curtin and Garrett Knoll of Cavelero Mid-High in the final of the doubles’ consolation bracket.

Lynden’s Briley Benner and Andrew Blair won three straight single-set matches, including a 6-2 victory over teammates Sebastian Kent and Will Vanderveen in the finale, to finish first in the doubles bracket. They collected 10 points for the Lions J.V. squad, while Kent and Vanderveen tallied nine.

In singles, Connor Tasoff of Coupeville thumped Lynden’s Jacob West 6-2 in the singles finale to earn 10 of the Wolves’ 32 team points.

Coupeville’s Ben Hayes finished in third place with a 6-1 win over Friday Harbor senior Zach Milkis, who posted six points for the Wolverines.

Friday Harbor sophomore Nick Roberts fell 6-0 in the opening round of singles play, but advanced to the finals of the consolation bracket with a 6-4 victory over teammate Parker Satin in the following match. Roberts came up just short in a 7-6 loss to Lynden’s Spencer Corbin in the consolation finale, and tallied five points for the team.

Lynden edged past Coupeville 35-32 to take the tournament title. Friday Harbor finished in third place with 18 points and Cavelero managed five points.
