The Wolverines had a comeback victory against the LaConner Braves at Friday’s home game on Jan. 26.
The Braves took the lead, but the Wolverines stayed close behind. The score by halftime was nearly tied, with the Braves leading by one point, 27-28. The Wolverines fought to take the lead in the third quarter, and found success. The score going into the fourth quarter was 41-36. The Braves managed to score 9 points in the fourth quarter but the Wolverines claimed the victory with a final score of 59-45.
This adds another victory to the Wolverines’ winning streak, after coming out victorious in their last four games. The Wolverines battle Orcas on Jan. 30 followed by their final game of the season Feb. 2 against Concrete.
