The San Juan Island cold weather shelter will open at 8 p.m., Monday, Feb. 12 at 395 Spring St. in the house next to the Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church. There will be a sandwich-board sign up indicating that they are open. The U.S. National Weather Service calls for a low of 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Friday Harbor for Feb. 12.
