Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease vaccine offered

Dr. Sonja Webster-Hills is partnering with a veterinarian from the Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine in Bothell to provide a one-time vaccine clinic for Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease in Friday Harbor.

McLaughlin will be conducting the vaccine clinic and can provide additional information on the disease.

Vaccines will take place rom 1 a.m.-2 p.m. on Feb. 11 at Islands Veterinary Clinic in Friday Harbor. Call 425-486-9000 for a reservation.

Fees are households of three or fewer rabbits is a single $30 community vaccination fee, plus $35 per vaccine Households of four or more rabbits is a single $100 “breeder” vaccination fee plus $35 per vaccine.

Must be paid in advance to reserve an appointment and vaccines, fees are nonrefundable if canceled less than 48 hours prior.

Rabbit owners should call the Center for Bird and Exotic Animal Medicine at 425-486-9000 to reserve space and leave deposits over the phone; they will also need to specify their location and provide their contact information so that we can have vaccination certificates pre-made available for them on site.
