Beginning in July, CenturyLink is scheduled to complete major repair and maintenance work on an existing fiber cable in San Juan County. Work for this project will occur at Otis Perkins County Park and nearby waters crossing the San Juan Channel.

Repairing the cable will help ensure the integrity of the beach and natural surroundings while helping prevent future disruptions and maintenance issues.

A portion of this work will affect public access at Otis Perkins County Park. Beach access and parking will be limited or closed to the public from July 13 through Aug. 11.
