At 2 p.m., the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a shelter in Seattle that has located the missing person. They were taken into protective custody this afternoon. Thank you to everyone for the calls and assistance in this case. We’re grateful this individual is safe.

The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office is looking for assistance in locating a missing person from Orcas Island. Please contact the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office at 360-378-4151 if you have any information on the whereabouts of this individual. Any assistance in locating this person will be greatly appreciated.

Missing Person: Cosmo R. Renner-St. Clair, 16 years old. Caucasian Male, 505, 120 pounds. missing person

Information: Cosmo left his home in Eastsound / Deer Harbor at an unknown time on Nov. 6. Cosmo did not take any money, clothing, or personal effects with him when he left home. Washington State Patrol was able to locate a video of Cosmo exiting a Washington State Ferry at the Anacortes Ferry Terminal late in the afternoon on Nov. 6.
