The black bear that was last seen on Orcas Island, has now been spotted in the Hillview Terrace area of San Juan Island. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife has been notified. Sheriff Ron Krebs said that the bear doesn’t appear to be aggressive but instead interested in bird feeders and garbage cans. The Sheriff’s Office asks that if you see the bear, contact the office at 360-378-4151.
