World Labyrinth Day

Submitted by Saint David’s Episcopal Church.

Saint David’s Church — in collaboration with The Labyrinth Society, Veriditas, The Legacy Labyrinth Project, and the Australian Labyrinth Network — invites you to join thousands of people around the world in celebrating World Labyrinth Day by walking a labyrinth at 1 p.m. local time, creating a unified rolling wave of peaceful energy passing from one time zone to the next around the globe.

Many find that walking the labyrinth quiets the mind, opens the heart, and grounds the body as a walking meditation or path of prayer. The labyrinth has only one way into the center and back out. Unlike a maze where you lose your way, the labyrinth is a spiritual tool to help you find your way.

Invite your family and friends to come to the outdoor labyrinth in front of the church office at 760 Price Street on Saturday, May 6, at 1 p.m. to walk as one for peace. Children are welcome.
