What’s up Doc? San Juan ‘Rabbits Tales’, Sunday, 3-5 p.m. at the Grange

Before killer whales stole the show, a different creature put San Juan Island on the map... rabbits. That's right, little bunny Foo-Foo, and friends, were big time in a bygone era that many old-time islanders well recall. Don't miss this chance to get the skinny on island bunny history.

The San Juan Historical Society and Museum presents “Rabbit Tales:1930s to the 1970s”, Sunday, 3-5 p.m., at The Grange Hall in Friday Harbor.

Join members of longtime island families for a casual, informative and entertaining fireside chat, as they share stories about the bygone days of rabbits. Historian Boyd Pratt kick-offs the program with a slide show of island rabbit history and will then moderate as stories are shared.

Bring “rabbit tales” of your own to share, along with any hare-raising historic photos or bunny related San Juan memorabilia. Refreshments are provided.
