The community gathered around Memorial Park, Dec. 2 from 5 to 6 p.m. to watch the lighting of the park’s trees, and sing carols led by Friday Harbor Elementary and Middle School students. Santa and Mrs. Clause also made an appearance handing out presents to the children in the audience. The celebration continued at Brickworks where cider and snacks were served.
